SAINT JOHN, NB – Saint John Airport Inc. along with Envision Saint John: The Regional Growth Agency are pleased to announce the creation of a space at the airport dedicated to welcoming arriving conference delegates, athletes, students, and newcomers. “We frequently get calls from local community groups and other event organizers asking where they can set up a banner or provide transportation information to their arriving participants. This space was available, and we thought it was a perfect location to direct arriving guests,” said Lori Carle, Saint John Airport’s Manager of Marketing, public and Corporate Relations. The kiosk, located at the arrivals entrance beside the exit doors, has a screen and space for conference details, and a counter for representatives to greet their arriving guests. It also houses local tourism information, maps, and helpful details for newcomers and was artfully decorated with beautiful images of our region with the assistance of Envision Saint John.
“We understand the importance of welcoming and onboarding new residents, students, visitors, businesses, and investors to our region,” said Jillian MacKinnon, VP, Marketing Communications & Strategic Initiatives at Envision Saint John. “We were pleased to work with YSJ to develop a branded space where host committees, post-secondary institutions and community agencies can welcome people arriving in the Saint John Region.”
