Snowbirds set to soar at YSJ

Next summer, Saint John Airport will become the stage for one of Canada’s most iconic aviation experiences.

The Canadian Forces Snowbirds have officially confirmed they will perform at Airshow Atlantic 2026, hosted at Saint John Airport on Aug. 29 and 30.

It will mark Airshow Atlantic’s first-ever event in Saint John – and a major milestone for aviation fans across southern New Brunswick.

Renowned for precision flying and unmistakable red-and-white aircraft, the Snowbirds are ambassadors of the Canadian Armed Forces and among the most recognized demonstration teams in the world. Their 2026 season carries added significance, celebrating 55 years since the team’s inaugural flight in 1971.

Hosting Airshow Atlantic at YSJ brings world-class aerial performances directly to the region, alongside ground displays, family-friendly activities, and a strong tourism boost for Greater Saint John and surrounding communities.

For many, it will be a rare opportunity to experience the Snowbirds up close – not just in the sky, but as part of a full airshow weekend at the airport itself.

Additional performer announcements, ticket information, and event updates will be shared in the months ahead. Those interested can sign up for insider updates at airshowatlantic.ca.
