SAINT JOHN, N.B. — December 5, 2025–Saint John Airport (YSJ) is inviting community members, neighbours, and stakeholders to attend a public open house as part of the airport’s Land Use Plan update, a process required by Transport Canada. The Plan outlines how airport lands are managed today and how they may evolve in the years ahead.
“Our Land Use Plan is an important tool that guides how the airport grows and operates, and we want the community to understand how this process works,” said Court Edeburn, President & CEO of Saint John Airport. “This open house is a chance to learn, ask questions, and engage directly with your airport as we plan for the future together.”
The open house will provide residents with an opportunity to view display materials, ask questions to airport management, and offer feedback for consideration.
Open House Details:
Date: December 16, 2025
Time: 3:00 pm-5:00 pm and from 7:00 pm-9:00 pm
Location: Saint John Airport, 4180 Loch Lomond Road in the Customs Hall, arrivals entrance.
Airport President & CEO Court Edeburn, along with members of the management team, will be on hand to discuss the plan and listen to community input.
“Community feedback helps ensure our planning reflects local priorities alongside operational needs,” Edeburn said. “We look forward to welcoming everyone to the airport.”
Members of the public who cannot attend in person will be able to review materials online at www.ysjsaintjohn.ca following the event.
