This fall, we’re inviting passengers to get back to the books with us! Saint John Airport is proud to partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters to bring a brand-new reading experience to our departures lounge.
“We have been wanting to add a ‘fly-brary’ to our airport, but this opportunity to support Big Brothers Big Sisters just felt more meaningful,” says Lori Carle, Manager of Marketing, Public & Corporate Relations for YSJ.
The Big Bookshelf will be stocked with stories ready to travel with you. It’s simple: just tap your debit, credit, Apple Pay, or Google Pay on the $5, $10, or $20 donation squares right beside the shelf, then pick a book or two to enjoy on your flight.
What makes this even more special is knowing your donation goes directly to support Big Brothers Big Sisters’ mentoring programs – creating life-changing friendships for young people in our community.
This is more than just a new amenity at YSJ – it’s a chance for all of us, together with our passengers, to turn the love of reading into something even bigger: supporting kids and youth right here at home.
The bookshelf will be in place by the end of September in the YSJ Market space in the departures lounge.
