There’s more activity – and opportunity – taking off at Saint John Airport.
Air Canada Cargo has officially reopened for exports at YSJ, following a renovation of the cargo counter and back-end operations area. The upgrades create a more efficient, modern space to support growing demand and deliver a smoother experience for shippers.
Since early October, YSJ has been open for exports with extended operating hours – 4:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. – and fully export-trained counter staff ready to serve.
The station now accepts a wide range of cargo – from ship parts and industrial equipment to beer and seafood – products that reflect the strength and ingenuity of southern New Brunswick industries.
As Canada’s largest air cargo provider, Air Canada Cargo connects YSJ exporters to more than 50 countries through a network of freighters, passenger flights, and trucking partners – with self-handled hubs in Montréal, Toronto, Vancouver, Chicago, London, and Frankfurt.
Reopening cargo service at YSJ represents another step forward in strengthening Saint John’s air connections and expanding global access for local business.
