At YSJ, we believe in inspiring and supporting the next generation of leaders while staying deeply connected to our local community.
This spring, we had the pleasure of hosting Cyan White, a Grade 12 student from Simonds High School, for her co-operative education placement from February through May.
Cyan brought fresh energy and creativity to our marketing team, working on everything from creating promotional coupons and organizing events to contributing to our Tuesday Travel Tips and developing content for our departure lounge displays.
“I had the opportunity to work on a variety of marketing tasks such as organizing fun events and brainstorming contest ideas,” Cyan reflects. “I’ll truly miss the everyday hustle at the airport and seeing the hardworking people dedicated to its success.”
As a competitive dancer with dreams of opening her own dance school, Cyan is heading to New Brunswick Community College this fall to study marketing – skills she plans to use to help build her future business.
Her enthusiasm and dedication during her time with us exemplify exactly why YSJ is committed to providing meaningful learning opportunities for local students.
These partnerships with our community schools don’t just benefit the students – they bring new perspectives and energy to our team while helping us stay connected to the community we serve.
